Every child should be able to experience the joy and tradition of trick-or-treating on Halloween. But kids with food allergies are often left out of the fun, since most candy is off limits. FARE's Teal Pumpkin Project helps make sure all children will come home on Halloween night with something they can enjoy.

Choices will be celebrating Halloween by spreading the word about the Teal Pumpkin Project. 1 in 13 children have food allergies, making the distribution of candy at Halloween a dangerous time for these kids. The Teal Pumpkin Project helps create a safe happy Halloween for ALL kids. A teal pumpkin by your door shows kids you offer non-food treats like pencils, stickers, glow sticks, etc. On Halloween, Choices will be offering non-food treats and allergy friendly candy for those who can have it.
