This local organization is working collaboratively to help make the Rockford region more sustainable in every way – people, planet and profit.

Earth Day is fast approaching and people around the world will be celebrating. We are fortunate to have members of Sustain Rockford at Choices to encourage all of us to take simple steps to create a more sustainable future for our community and our planet.

They will share the history of Earth Day and the impact it has had on our daily lives since its inception.  We may not all be climate activists like Greta Thunberg, but there are many simple ways we can reduce our environmental footprint.  Learn ways to reduce - reuse- and recycle in our homes and community. This will also be an opportunity for people in the class to share what they do to reduce their environmental footprint as well.
